SARPY COUNTY HELP LINE
The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office along with Sarpy County Human Services has established a help line for the citizens of Sarpy County during the COVID-19 pandemic event. Starting today, people who are sick, elderly, or caretakers of this demographic in Sarpy County may call the Sarpy County Sheriff Helpline at 402-593-1593 for needs such as picking up prescriptions, groceries, or other necessities. A uniformed Sarpy County Sheriff's Deputy will pick up and deliver these items in a marked police cruiser. This helpline may also be utilized by the general public to make non-emergency police reports via telephone that do not require a police officer present in their home.
The following providers are participating in this program:
Walmart in Papillion
Target in Papillion (Groceries Only)
Bakers at 36th St & Twin Creek Dr
Bakers at 801 Galvin Rd (Pharmacy Only)

Library Foundation member, Marcie Mann, setting up the 1999 Library Christmas Cookie Walk
It Happened in Springfield History
The Springfield Public Library hosted its first Christmas Cookie Walk in 1999 at the combined City Hall and Library in the conference room. The event was one of the many fundraisers organized to construct a new library. The first Cookie Walk was such a success it has been one of the many holiday events held in Springfield each year. Our community will be missing all the delicious sweet treats made by Springfield bakers this season. The library will see you next year at the 2021 Christmas Cookie Walk!

Regrettably, although in the best interest of all of our patrons and performers, due to the covid-19 pandemic, we have decided to cancel all shows for the foreseeable future.
It's our hope that 2021 brings good health to everyone and we can reopen to get back to some good ol' country music with our friends.

The Lofte Community Theatre is canceling their Christmas production of Making Spirits Bright.
But there is some good news! We will be offering the production online, free of charge as our Christmas present to the community. In the week before Christmas we will have detailed information on how to access and view this delightful production from the comfort of your home.
The health and safety of our patrons, volunteers and cast are important to us. Since we can't all gather together at the barn we hope you will enjoy the online presentation
If you have any questions please contact us at 402-234-2553.
