Welcome Back!
Hey Springfield, new memories from springfield days has left us with weeks of new lots of still smiling from the fun of last weekend—thank you for showing up and showing out! If you caught those ducks waddling (or being scooped up by curious little hands), you know the Lucky Ducky Race was a hit.
A huge shout-out to all the generous businesses who donated prizes—it truly takes a village!
It was great to see a whole new crowd of parents joining in, while many familiar faces made it feel like home. The Library Book Sale was buzzing—people were lined up before the doors even opened. What a turnout! If you bought a ticket for the prize drawing, hang tight—the Library team is working hard to contact winners. You’ll hear SOON if your ducky was a lucky one.
Until next time, Springfield—stay cool, stay kind, and keep making this town amazing.

Fit Tip of the Week – More Walking!
Walking is one of the simplest and most effective ways to improve overall health and wellbeing. Aiming for 10,000 steps a day is a great way to stay active, boost energy levels, and support cardiovascular health. While it may seem like a big number at first, breaking it down into smaller walks throughout the day makes it achievable—and even enjoyable. Whether it’s a morning stroll, an afternoon movement break, or an evening walk with a friend, each step adds up.
Ways to Get in More Steps Each Day:
- Take a morning or evening walk to start or end your day with movement
- Park farther away from your destination to add extra steps
- Walk during phone calls or listen to a podcast while strolling
- Take the stairs instead of the elevator when possible
- Plan a scenic walk in nature or around a new neighborhood

Insurance Tip of the Week – Check Your Rates – You Might Be Surprised!
It’s always a smart idea to review your insurance rates regularly. You may discover that another carrier can offer better coverage or a lower premium.
Here at Farmers, we can now quote through Progressive too — giving you more options to find the best fit for your budget and needs.

COME ON OVER!
This is the way country music started out, with acoustic instruments, before electricity. People sat out on the lawn, on the porch, or in a friend’s house and played their instruments together.
Enjoy the originality of music which is still present in many circles of friends.
