ReMain - Raw Honey.

Raw, unfiltered honey isn’t just sweet — it actually has real benefits. It can help soothe a sore throat, calm a cough, and even give a steadier boost of energy than regular sugar. Many people also use a small daily spoonful of local raw honey during allergy season.

Just make sure it’s truly raw and unfiltered (usually cloudy and may crystallize). And remember — never give honey to infants under 1 year old.

Springfield History

Springfield Library Plant Sale Fundraiser

In April 1997, the Springfield Library hosted a Plant Sale to generate funds for its
operations. The garden plants for this event were supplied by Jim and Marcie
Stern, the owners of Sunrise Nursery in Omaha. The sale was held at the
Springfield Volunteer Fire Hall, located on the north side of City Hall and the
Library. Attendees were able to choose from a wide a wide variety of flowers that
were ready for planting. The library board of trustees determined how the funds
raised would be used to benefit the Library.

Tip of the Week-Save with Vehicle Storage

Did you know—if you own 3 vehicles but only drive 2, you can put the extra one in storage and save money?

Here’s how it works:

  • Remove liability coverage
  • Keep comprehensive only (protects against theft, weather, etc.)
  • Pay less while it’s not being driven

When you’re ready to use it again, just let us know and we’ll put it back on full coverage.

Simple way to save without losing protection.

Fit Tip of the Week: Fasting

Fasting is simple—it just means taking a break from eating.

An easy way to start:

  • Stop eating after dinner
  • Eat again in the morning (about 12 hours later)

Why it helps:

  • Cuts down late-night snacking
  • Helps you stay in control of your eating

Keep it basic:

  • Drink water, black coffee, or tea
  • Eat normal, balanced meals when you do eat

Bottom line:
You don’t need anything extreme—just a little structure can go a long way.

Did You Know?
April Fools’ Day has been around for centuries, but no one actually knows exactly how it started. Some historians think it dates back to when people forgot to switch calendars… others think people have just always enjoyed messing with each other.

Either way—trust nothing today. Especially group chats.
