SPRINGFIELD AREA MASTER GARDENERS

It is time for what we call "spring reflection".

Hi, we are the Master Gardeners of the Sarpy County Fairgrounds with the Douglas/Sarpy Extension and we are always thinking what we can do to create the best garden space for Springfield and here to help you with your spaces as well. With the help of the Springfield town website we want to reach out to you and see what kind of questions or design ideas you may need help with in your own landscape. We are here for vegetables, trees, perennials, annuals, prairie, etc.

The Springfield Library is going to make an available connection for you to ask your gardening questions, we will also be available for questions during our working times on Thursday mornings at 9:00 am at the fairgrounds starting end of March, and of course you can always send in questions to Backyard Farmer or call the Master Gardener hotline.

First things first: I will introduce you to our crazy group next week and give you a list of garden planning.

No experience is required and we will teach both the safety and the requirements of the position in our in-house 3 week long training program held in our Bennington, NE facility. Individuals must be 19 to apply with a good driving history. This position, Cell Tower Climber, leaves the Omaha area on Mondays and returns on Fridays. Our staff travel all over the United States and often within 2-3 years, they have seen 40+ states in their travels. Working at heights is a requirement.

- $21 / hour to start (60k+ with consistent overtime and $35 daily per diem)
