"THE FOX ON THE FAIRWAY" IS FROLICKING FUN

MAHONEY STATE PARK

Mistaken identities!  Romantic shenanigans!  And most importantly, golf!  KBC Productions announces the opening of its spring production at Mahoney State Park, "The Fox On the Fairway," on Saturday, March 9.  Reminiscent of the Marx Brothers' classics, this madcap adventure will keep you on your toes.  We suggest a PG13 rating for this event.

The show is directed by and stars Kevin Colbert of Weeping Water.  The cast also includes Mick Kovar, Samantha Colbert and Mathew Pegler of Lincoln; Stacy White and Shari Hoelker of Omaha and Ross Mumford of Elmwood.  The role of Justin is shared on an alternating schedule by Mr. Pegler and Mr. Mumford.

"The Fox on the Fairway," runs March 9, 10, 15-17, 22-24, 30, April 5-7, 12-14 and 19-21.  Curtain times are 7:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays.  Sundays are 2:00pm matinees.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under.  Reservations may be made by calling Mahoney State Park at 402.944.2523 ext 7122.  A park entry permit is required.

GREENBLATT & SEAY

present “NOAH’S ARK”

AN ORIGINAL MINI-MUSCIAL

APRIL 14, 2:30PM

OLD SCHOOLHOUSE

AVOCA, NE

“Noah’s Ark” is a lively adaptation of the story of Noah and the great flood.  This unique Greenblatt & Seay production explores the fate of the humans and other animals on the ark, from the day they boarded, to the day they disembarked.  The words, by David Seay, examine the relationships between the inhabitants of the ark, and how they managed to survive from one unpredictable day to the next.  The music, by Deborah Greenblatt, suggests many of the globes great musical traditions, such as blues, Cajun, calypso, Klezmer, a “Gilbert & Sullivan”-style jig,  a tango, and even a round.  Greenblatt & Seay & Friends will be singing and playing a variety of instruments during the performance, including a 5-string fiddle, harmonica, guitar, tiple, bouzouki.

The concert will be downstairs in the Old Avoca Schoolhouse, and followed by light refreshments, and a chance to chat and even jam with the performers.  Avoca is in southern Cass County, Nebraska, on the 13 C Spur, one mile south of Highway 34.  Admission is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and senior citizens, and $1.00 for children. Seating is limited. For more information, write to Greenblatt & Seay. The Old Schoolhouse, P.O. Box 671, Avoca, Nebraska, 68307, or call 402-275-3221, or e-mail them at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
